INSIDE THE THEATRE
Function
The theatre program is characterized by 2 contradicting forms of organization.
A vertical stack of spectators, performers and staff, and a vast open
flat floor for actors and scenery: The service tower and the creative
platform. The two forms of organisation collide in the cruciform of
the main stage. From one end the theatre is a tower in the city, from
the other it is a balcony floating above the horizon. |
