THE FLOATING THEATRE
Mobility
The theatre will be docked on its main location between the Kvæsthus
Island and plaza. But on occasions (or seasons) it can move to other
positions in the harbor in order to incorporate the city and water
in its performance. Relationships with the queen's palace, the opera
or the Trekroner fortress are envisioned. The theatre could even follow
the royal ship around the country in the summer, making it the real
national theatre of Denmark. The theatre could go to Århus for the
annual festival or make a special guest performance in Malmø as a
diplomatic gesture to enforce the bonding of the Øresundsregion. |
